Condensation is a constant problem in sealed luminaires or enclosures that have not been designed to give adequate ventilation. The Wiska VentGLAND has a gland that features an in-built goretex membrane, which allows the luminaire or enclosure to breath but at the same time maintains an IP69 seal ensuring no water enters it. This ensures equalisation of pressures, which reduces the condensation. It also enables an existing standard cable gland to be replaced and therefore not requiring an additional work to the luminaire or enclosure.
